John Lindsley Hall of Earth History geological museum exhibition photographs, [ca. 1900]-1977.

Photographs recording exhibits in the Hall, examining earth history as represented in dioramas illustrating the Permian, Silurian, and Devonian; a Pennsylvania coal forest; and other submarine landscapes. Also includes a geological map of New York City and its vicinity, geological history, and structure panels; the relief globe, the seismographic globe, and the proposed plans for this hall. Photographs were taken by Robert Elwood, Alex J. Rota, Thomas Lunt, and Hugh S. Rice.
